Cause: ex-meeuw, ex-lighter. built in 1921 by van der werff, hoogenzand, netherlands. 3 cylinder, 4 stroke oil engine of 35 bhp, single shaft. passage hamburg for wexford. suffered severe leak after striking in bad weather. taken in tow by s trawler encore but vessel sank. crew recovered by irish lights vessel ierne (sibi).
