Cause: built in 1918 by w hamilton & co., with triple expansion engines and lp turbine of 781 nhp. owned at time of loss by clan line steamers. was bombed & sunk by german aircraft whilst on passage bombay for london. five crew lost. (ww2sl, ll ww2, dods).
