Cause: built in 1882 by palmers' co, newcastle-upon-tyne. owned at time of loss by palgrave, murphy & co. two boilers, compound expansion engine of 174 nhp, single shaft. passage newcastle-upon-tyne for boucau. torpedoed by ub-40. two men lost. (ww1sl & sibi).
