- NM BLOCK 239/77. H1283/79/138 6.8.79 DIVED 17.6.79. LIES UPRIGHT WITH SLIGHT LIST TO STBD. BOWS NW. NO TRACE OF ORIGINAL WOODEN SUPERSTRUCTURE. HOLDS APPEAR EMPTY. 15FT IRON PROPELLER. APPARENTLY AMERICAN BUILT & OPERATED. VALVE MARKED 'JAMES BOYD, PHILADELPHIA' AND DINING PLATE MADE BY 'COOK POTTERTON, TRENTON NJ' RECOVERED. POSSIBLY A WWI VICTIM. (D M DILLINGHAM, 21.7.79). NCA. H1310/88/29 20.6.88 IDENTIFIED AS 'CITY OF MEXICO' BY KITCHEN FORK FOUND WITH NAME ENGRAVED ON BACK OF HANDLE. (T FRANCIS, 20.5.88).
