Cause: built in 1939 by 'de merwede' van vliet & co, harrinxveld. owned at time of loss by william robertson & sons. 6 cylinder oil engine, single shaft. passage llandulas for london. all hatches were stove in during strong nw gale. attempted to beach, but sank 1 mile offshore. (sibi).
