Cause: ex-piscean, ex-chrysolite. built of wood in 1980 by j noble, frazerbrough. owned at time of loss by caley fisheries (peterhead) ltd. oil engine of 500bhp, single shaft. took water through burst pipe in engine room. two additional pumps supplied by coastguard but unable to cope. crew recovered and vessel sank.
