Cause: built 1906 by workman, clark & co.ltd, belfast, 3 cylinder triple expansion engine of 666hp, single shaft, 4 boilers. owned at time of loss by ministry of shipping. struck mine laid by uc 75, 0.5m from black head, whilst on passage garston, liverpool for kingston, jamaica. no loss of life.
