Cause: ex-cumal. built in 1900 by northumberland shipbuilding co. owned at time of loss by t h evans. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 385 nhp, single shaft. passage penarth for venice. struck the brisons rock at 0455 in fog. floated off but was taking water forward. run ashore just off pendeen point. was examined by divers but found to be broken in two. (sibi).
