Cause: built 1895 by r craggs & son. owned at time of loss by the plymouth, channel islands & brittany co. triple expansion engine of 80rhp, single shaft. passage plymouth for the channel islands. wrecked on roque noire, guernsey. 12 passengers & several crew lost. (dods & m g shean).

NOT FOUND ON SURVEY BUT NOT SPECIFICALLY SEARCHED FOR. (SCES, ROS DTD 15.2.74). GIVES POSN APPROX 493031N, 023427W FOR FILING ONLY. H3635/71 3.9.79 H3635/71 3.9.79 15-25FT AT LWS. A BOILER STANDS PROUD OF SEABED, WITH A SHAFT EXTENDING TO THE SW. OTHERWISE WRECKAGE IS SMALL PIECES CONCRETED TO SEABED, THOUGH THERE ARE SUBSTANTIAL PIECES BENEATH PROLIFIC KELP GROWTH.
