Cause: built in 1919 by h & c grayson, with triple expansion engine of 271nhp for 10.5 knots. machinery by rollo & son. owned at time of loss by macandrews & co. homeward bound in convoy from lisbon for liverpool. torpedoed and sunk by german submarine u 124. 6 men lost. (dods, ll ww2, ww2sl, axis submarine successes, wartime standard ships).
