Cause: 22.4.1914 built in 1907 by tyne iron steamboat co ltd, newcastle-upon-tyne. owned at time of loss by fisher-renwick manchester-london ss co. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 144nhp, single shaft. passage london for manchester. general cargo. sunk in collision, in foggy conditions, with hms isis. (ll 22.4.1914, dods & sibi).

SOME OF THE BASE OF THE HULL REMAINS. THE ENTIRE STBD HULL PLATE HAS COLLAPSED. THE SINGLE BOILER IS IDENTIFIABLE IN THE CENTRE BUT THE ENGINE IS OBSCURED BY DEBRIS. AT THE STERN, THE FORM OF THE PROPELLER &RUDDER IS DISCERNIBLE. ON THE S SIDE, TWO MASTS LIE ON THE SEABED, PERPENDICULAR TO THE LENGTH OF THE WRECK. (MMT, HI 1498). AMEND DW 27MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
