IRON HULL LYING E/W, STEEL MASTS LAYING FLAT AND REMAINS OF STANDING RIGGING. HEIGHT ABOUT 18FT ABOVE SEABED, ON EDGE OF A BANK. SEABED OF COARSE SAND, SMALL STONES. NO PROPELLER. 2 TO 5 TON ANCHOR. H1310/88 29.6.88 EXTENSIVE SEARCHES IN CHARTED POSN OF THIS WK HAVE BEEN FRUITLESS, HOWEVER A WK OF LARGE IRON SV, WITH NO ENGINE AND LYING ON PORT SIDE, HAS BEEN LOCATED IN 503446N, 005218W. WRECK DISPERSED AND HOLDS POORLY ON SONAR 193M. EXTENDS TO AREA APPROX 20MTRS IN DIAMETER. ONE HARD CONTACT IN CENTRE OF AREA, 3MTRS IN LENGTH AND 0.5MTR OFF SEA BED.
