Cause: ex-raithmoor. built in 1899 by j readhead & sons, south shields. owned at time of loss by merevale shipping co ltd, cardiff. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 278 nhp, single shaft. passage huelva for garston. torpedeod by u-30. four men lost, 21 recovered. (sibi).
