Cause: built in 1907 by wood, skinner & co ltd, newcastle-upon-tyne. owned at time of loss by burnett ss co. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 200hp, single shaft. passage hartlepool for london. mined. crew recovered, but master died of heart attack after being rescued. (llww1 & sibi).

BELOW 6FMS THE SAND HAS BEEN SCOURED AWAY AROUND ABOUT THE WRECKAGE TO VARYING DEPTHS BELOW 6FMS SO THAT SOME OF THE WRECKAGE STANDS UP ABOVE SAND LEVEL BUT BELOW 6FMS. POSN 544057N, 010851W. (PORT OF HARBOUR COMMISSION, HARTLEPOOL, 17.8.29).

BR STD. 15.3.19 3 UPRIGHT CIRCULAR SHAPED VESSELS BURIED IN SAND, WRECKAGE VISIBLE 3MTRS DIAMETER BY 1MTR HIGH. IN A LINE SPACED APPROX 4MTRS APART, NO OTHER WRECKAGE FOUND.
