Cause: built in 1866 by thames ironworks and owned at the time of loss by j.little & sons was torpedoed and sunk by german submarine ub-64 off corsewall point whilst on passage ayr for dundalk. 10 lives lost including captain. (ll ww1, dods & der krieg zur see).
