Cause: 30.6.40 built in 1926 by palmer & co, newcastle-upon-tyne. passage abadan for the hamble when she struck a mine 5m off st. alban's head and was beached on lulworth banks in sinking condition. broke in two 30.6.40. after part was salved. (sibi).
