APPARENTLY BROKEN IN TWO - THE LARGER PART, 120MTRS LONG, LIES 135/315DEGS; THE SMALLER, MORE BROKEN UP SECTION, IS 40MTRS LONG AND ORIENTATED N/S. A LARGE MAGNETIC ANOMALY OBSERVED. (HMS BULLDOG, H525A, 28.9.90). AMEND TO WK 82MTRS IN REVISED POSN.

- NM 3129/90 6.5.98 6.5.98 WK HAS BEEN VERY SERIOUSLY SALVAGED A LONG TIME AGO. NO EVIDENCE OF ANY CARGO FOUND DURING CURRENT SALVAGE WORK, ALL STEEL GONE, LEADING TO DOUBT THAT WK IS THE 'BRIARDENE'. SURVEY DETAILS AS HMS BULLDOG. (B DAVIS, ECHOSCAN/G FURSE TELECON 6.5.98). NCA.
