Cause: ex-caspiana. built in 1901 by mackenzie & thompson, glasgow. owned at time of loss by the don fishing co, aberdeen. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 65hp, single shaft. machinery by ross & duncan, glasgow. passage from north shields for fishing and return. captured by german submarine and scuttled.
