Cause: ex-margit reuter, ex-sylvia, ex-jill, ex-mabelstan. built in 1949 by norrkoping varg & verks, norrkoping, sweden. owned at time of loss by effluent services ltd, cheshire. passage liverpool for liverpool bay. reported to have struck underwater obstn near the channel, developed a leak and a severe list, later sank.
