Length 57.5 meter, width: 9.9 meter, draught: 6.2, tonnage 926 ton
Load: timber

Cause: built in 1863 by w pile & co, sunderland. passage borga for seville. went ashore in fog then later struck a rock mid way between the centre of charlton bay & culverhole pt. broke in two, the cargo floated away covering local beaches for miles. (sibi).

HULL REDUCED BY WAVE ACTION TO KEEL & ONE SECTION OF RIB 12-15FT ABOVE SEABED, BUT ONLY 100YDS OFFSHORE AT LW, ONLY INCHES BELOW WATER LEVEL. (J. MOORE, NERC). POSN FOR FILING ONLY. 24.6.85 THE STERN STILL VISIBLE WITH SMALL PROPSHAFT, APPROPRIATE TO A SAILING BARQUE. (J. GIBBS, LOCATED 23.6.85). HH091/242/01 & SEP 2009/000159377 21.10.09 EXAM'D SEPT 2008 IN 5041.859N, 0300.253W [WGD] USING DGPS. LEAST M/B DEPTH 5.40 IN GEN DEPTH 8 - 9MTRS. LENGTH 80MTRS, WIDTH 10MTRS, HT 2.5 - 3.0MTRS.
