Length 61.6 meter, width: 11 meter, draught: 7, tonnage 1155 ton

Cause: 4.9.93 built 1862 at west hartlepool. owned by mckinnon, liverpool. entry in lloyds list ceased 1871-72. (k hurley, 4.9.93). 20.3.1889 sailed from liverpool for inquique on 20.3.1889, but wreckage consisting of boxes of candles, a sailor's chest and a bot with 'bengollyun london' on it was washed ashore at cemlym bay, anglesey. the ship was towed by the tug 'cruiser' to a point 4m outside the bar lightship and then discharged at 4.30pm. the same evening there was a violent storm and she foundered. (k hurley).
