- NM 3685/96. HH100/351/13 2.10.97 WK DIVED IN LISTED POSN. HULL INTACT AND UPRIGHT BUT SUPERSTRUCTURE HAS COLLAPSED TO DECK LEVEL. MAX HT OF HULL ABOVE SEABED IS SOME 4.5MTRS ALONG ITS TOTAL LENGTH. LARGE TRAWL NET IS FIRMLY ATTACHED ACROSS THE STERN AND HOVERS 5MTRS ABOVE THE WK DURING SLACK WATER PERIODS. LARGE PIECES OF WRECKAGE LIE CLOSE TO THE BOW AREA. BOW LIES 235 DEGS, STERN 055 DEGS. CARGO OF SOAP CAN STILL BE SEEN PACKED TIGHTLY IN HOLDS. DIVED ON 27.9.97 WHEN BELL RECOVERED INSCRIBED 'STARLING' WHICH WAS THE ORIGINAL NAME WHEN LAUNCHED. (K HURLEY).
