Cause: built in 1890 by richardson duck & co. owned at time of loss by cleeve's western valleys anthracite collieries. passage penarth for honfleur. torpedoed. 11 lives lost. (ll ww1, ww1sl & dods).

HH091/059/01 1.4.05 NOT LOCATED, DISPROVED. (GARDLINE, HI 1059). AMEND TO DEAD. NCA. SEP 2007/000050503 9.7.07 LOCATED 7-8.7.07 IN 4959.241N, 0457.235W [WGD] USING DGPS, AND DIVED. FOUND TO BE SMALL COASTER, LESS THAN 1000TONS, SINGLE MAIN BOILER WITH DONKEY BOILER, STERN ENGINE, 2 HOLDS CARRYING COAL. BOILER IS HIGHEST PART, STANDING 4MTRS. (G POUND, TELECON 9.7.07). POSSIBLY THE BEATRICE. INS AS WK 68MTRS.
