Cause: Ex-dutch liner 'baloeran'. built in 1930 by maats, fyenoord. seized by germans. oil engined. struck a mine 10-15m n of ijmuiden. taken in tow, but ran ashore & became total wk. claimed as hospital ship, but drove off british aircraft with a/a guns. (dods).
