Cause: 25.1.79 anchored about 0.5m w of crow rock because of engine trouble and crew taken off by lifeboat because of deteriorating weather. crew boarded again on 25.1.79 to try to repair engine, later returning ashore. vessel not seen on morning of 26.1.79. presumed sunk at anchor. vessel, built 1949 by a/s stord, lervik, was on passage rosslare to barcelona.
