Length 99 meter, width: 14.3 meter, draught: 6.7, tonnage 3090 ton

Cause: Built in 1897 by william grey & co ltd, west hartlepool. owned at time of loss by rickinson, sons & co, west hartelpool. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 260 nhp, single shaft. machinery by central maring engineering works ltd, hartlepool. passage murmask for middlesbrough with a cargo of iron ore. torpedoed by uc-71. (wrecksite & der krieg zur see).

H6331/87 2.2.89 WK EXAM'D 13.6.88 IN 544810N, 005503W [OGB] USING TRISPONDER [3 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH 54 IN GEN DEPTH 59MTRS. SCOUR 0.5MTR DEEP. DCS3 HT 4.5MTRS, LENGTH 100MTRS, BREADTH 20MTRS. LIES 120/300 DEG. APPEARS RATHER DILAPIDATED AND TO BE FRACTURED ACROSS NEAR NW END. (LAND & MARINE, HI 414B). BR STD.
