Cause: vessel, [ex-'bilbao'], built 1953 by orstein &koppel & lubecker masch, lubeck. owned at time of loss by hercules shipping corporation. on passage from kymassi from piraeus. ran into gale force winds & anchored in mandoudhi roads, off e coast of euboea island. as weather deteriorated she dragged anchor & was blown onto rocks, breaking in two, holds & engine-room flooded. 15 crew & three passengers safe, two lost.
