Length 144.8 meter, width: 19.2 meter, draught: 10.7, tonnage 8940 ton

Cause: built in in 1928 by w hamilton (1928) & co of port glasgow. owned at time of loss by ather line ltd. m tanker for vegetable oil & wine. oil engines, twin screw. passage swansea for new york in ballast. went ashore near the smalls lt. broke into two pieces. stern was beached near dale, bows sank.
