Cause: built in 1912 by j crown & sons, sunderland. passage birkenhead to boston (lincs). cargo manure. single boiler, single screw, triple expansion of 110 nhp. crew of 11 lost. cause of loss unknown, but boat with three crew seen to be swamped. all lost. (shipwreck index of the british isles).

INTACT, UPRIGHT. CENTRE PART WELL BURIED IN SAND TO TOP OF BULWARK, BOW AND STERN CLEAR. REMAINS OF SUPERSTRUCTURE LIE ASTERN. SEABED OF LIGHT SAND. ANCHOR ON BOW, SCREW ON PROP SHAFT. NO POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION. (R. BAKER, 21.9.98). POSN AMENDED TO 500346N, 054511.5W [OGB] FOR PLOTTING TO AGREE WITH CHARTED DEPTHS. INS AS WK 33MTRS. BR STD.
