Cause: 12.11.39 built in 1938 by deutsche werft a g. owned at time of loss by a/s inger. oil engine of 1360 hp. on passage from aruba for nyborg. badly damaged by a torpedo from a german submarine on 12.11.39. five lives lost. later sunk by british naval vessels. (dods).
