Cause: built in 1900 by strand slipway co. owned at the time of loss by montreuil & co. was torpedoed and sunk by german submarine while on passage rouen for swansea. (ll ww1 & dods).

LEAST DEPTH BY GAUGE 70MTRS ABOVE THE BOILER AT LOW WATER. BOILER 8MTRS HIGH. BOW 3 MTRS, REST WELL BROKEN UP. BELL RECOVERED. (G GOOCH, FAX DTD 14.8.03).
