Cause: built in 1909 by caledon shibuilding & engineering co, dundee. owned at time of loss by yeoward line ltd (aguilas ss co). two boilers, triple expansion engine of 278 nhp, single shaft. passage liverpool for lisbon and the canary islands. captured by u 28. sunk by gunfire and single torpedo, broke in two as she sank. 7 crew & 1 passenger lost. (sibi).
