Cause: built in 1931 by g brown, greenock, with oil engine, single shaft. owned at time of loss by f t everard & sons ltd. aft oil engine, single shaft. passage thames haven for newburgh, fife. struck a submerged object and damaged the propeller. taken in tow but foundered in heavy weather. (r young & sibi).

Details measurements/cartography: HH100/351/01 29.6.90 HH100/351/01 29.6.90 DIVED IN 552818N, 013248W USING GPS. WK OF SMALL COASTER, POSSIBLY A TANKER. ABOUT 130FT LONG, 20FT BEAM. LIES E/W, WITH BOW E, ON PORT SIDE AND IN A GULLY. ENGINE AFT CONFIGURATION AND MUCH PIPEWORK ON DECK. STILL IN ONE PIECE BUT HULL IS IN BAD CONDITION. LIES IN GEN DEPTH 100FT. (D COX, FAX DTD 12.6.90). INS AS NDW. BR STD. HH100/351/15 20.9.99 HH100/351/15 20.9.99 WK IS NEARLY INTACT, ON HER PORT SIDE IN 34MTRS. DECK VERTICAL AND AGAINST A SMALL REEF. SMALL SUPERSTRUCTURE HAS NOW FALLEN ONTO THE STONEY SEABED WITH A GREAT DEAL OF DEBRIS BETWEEN THE DECKS AND THE REEF. BELL NOT SO FAR RECOVERED. MUCH OF THE FWD END TAKEN UP WITH PIPEWORK. STEEL RAILINGS STILL RUN FROM THE FRIDGE TO A SMALL HATCH ON THE BOWS. STERN DECKING IS WELL DETERIORATED. RUDDER HANGING IN THE PINTLES AND BRONZE PROPELLER STILL IN PLACE.
