With the Vaarwegmelder you can report problems and incidents that occur on and around Dutch waters. For example, are the operating times or contact details of a bridge or lock incorrect? Is there a buoy in the wrong position, is a mooring place difficult to reach or are underwater objects in a dangerous location? Please let us know. But you can also report issues such as swimmers in the shipping channel, reckless skippers or water plant nuisance here.

We will pass on your report to the Nautical Data Team of Rijkswaterstaatwhich will ensure that the responsible authority tackles the problem and rectifies it. If you provide your email address, you will also receive feedback about what has been done with your report.
