In the middle of the land of Leeghwater is the pearl of this area, the best village of De Rijp. In the village is the marina of Watersportvereniging Eilandspolder, a small cozy port of all conveniences, the pleasant atmosphere characterize the rustic appearance of the harbor and the village. The Bed and Breakfast, shops, restaurants, museums, bus station and the 17th century village are within walking distance of the harbor. You can also rent a whisper boat in the village to make a boat trip in the fantastic Eilandspolder, really recommended. The area houses many species such as the rare Roerdomp, the large and small egret regularly show itself here, the kingfisher has also been spotted many times in our harbor this year. If you are looking for more urban crowds, the bus connections are ideal for a day in Amsterdam, Alkmaar or Purmerend. All berths are equipped with a side scaffolding over the entire length and the harbor has free WiFi. Do you want to get married on your own boat? That is possible in our marina, ask for the conditions. In short, Passantenhaven Islandspolder is more than a mooring place in the Land of Leeghwater.
