Den Bommel is a former ferry port located on Haringvliet. The port now consists of a municipality of Haven next to a sand and gravel overlay and the pleasant association hunting of the Watersportvereniging Het Bommelse Gors. Left and right of the marina are the gorzen to which the association owes its name. You can walk on the dikes in these gorzen. In the spring, summer and autumn, thousands of birds also camp here. The Marina is a great example of going well together of nature and water sports. You don't have to look up strangely like herons, wild geese, cows and even spoonbills on a few meters from your boat to roam their food together.
