WSV Herkingen is a water sports club with ± 500 members, founded in 1971. The marina can accommodate more than 350 ships with a maximum draft of ± 2m. The marina has access to all those facilities that the modern water sports enthusiast expects in a port. The Jachthaven is a Dorado for children, from small to large: playground, spacious playing fields, Jollenhelling, Jollensteiger and Safe, far away from the busy traffic. The village Herkingen has a supermarket, a bakery, a water sports shop, various eateries, a cafe , a tea garden etc. In short, all the ingredients for a pleasant stay at the WSV Herkingen are present. Due to its location in the eastern part of the Grevelingen, the marina of WSV Herkingen is also extremely suitable for passers -by as a base for the rest of this unique sailing area.
