Welcome on board at Watersportvereniging & Quot; Biesbosch & Quot;. Our water sports club is housed in the new marina of Biesbosch Marina Drimmelen. De & quot; Nieuwe & Quot; At the opening in 1970, the port of Drimmelen was the biggest pleasure hunting port in Europe. Drimmelen is seen as the gateway to the Biesbosch. There is always a pleasant bustle in Drimmelen; You can enjoy yourself for a whole day: restaurants, a water playing garden and an indoor playground, mini golf, sailing school De Biesbosch, the Biesbosch visitor center, rental companies and a great view of the Biesbosch make your day a party. You are so close to the Biesbosch that you can almost touch the reed collars! The marina is directly in the heart of the Biesbosch. The moment you can travel you can immediately enjoy nature in this unique piece of water area. Sailing in the Biesbosch is always an experience in this water -rich area. The many winding creeks and ditches lead you to beautiful puddles and bowls. You can moor at one of the many scaffolding or anchor in a nice quiet place. In addition to exploring the many creeks or islands, you can moor on a piece of beach to swim or just laze. Drimmelen has much more to offer: the sailing school with sailors for beginners and advanced, the courses, boats rental organized by the association, the nicest water sports shops, a cruise through the De Biesbosch National Park, berths for passers -by yachts, hunting mediation and sales, service for yachts, boat stores . The association organizes events throughout the year such as an opening and closing tour, party evenings, a barbecue, in summer and winter are organized at the Amer sailing competitions.
