The center operates as a school and leisure hub, focusing on sailing and kayak training for youth. The marina offers yacht charter and sailing cutter rental for groups of 6 to 8 people, at 50 Euro per day. Visitors can use the sanitary facilities in the clubhouse. Accommodation is available on the basic ship 'Freundschaft' for 7 Euro per night per person. For children and youth, this amounts to 5 Euro. A galley is available on this ship for self-catering. The center is the home of the association Gemeinnützige Arbeit und Segeln e.V.
