The Blue Flag is an international environmental award, awarded annually to beaches and marinas that have proven to be clean and safe. The marinas must meet the following criteria:

In the Netherlands, Blue Flag certified marinas may be eligible for an additional award: the Green Pennant. A marina earns this pennant if, on top of the international criteria, it has made extra efforts in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainability of the marina.

Since November 2013, Stichting Jachenshaven and Camping De Helling has been the owner of the Culemborg Marina in the Hart van Nederland, on the River Lek in Gelderland. Within walking distance of the bustling city center, is the 170 m long Passantenkade of Jachthaven De Helling. In addition to the Passantenkade, the marina also has 275 permanent berths for sailing places, 20 camper pitches, 21 places for a mobile home and 20 seasonal places for a caravan. Our marina is characterized by its simplicity and quality. The basic facilities are of course present, including free WiFi Lake is not necessary, because the historic city center of Culemborg with museums and restaurants is near. In parallel on the Lommerrijk Veerweg you can have a nice breakfast in the sun in the morning and have a nice bubbling on your back deck in the afternoon in the shade of the tall trees.
