Hanzehaven Elburg is beautifully situated on the Randmeren. Water sports enthusiasts can reach the port via the Veluwemeer and the Drontermeer. The harbor has 100 berths for passers -by and more than 200 fixed berths. The fixed berths are also used for passers -by when they are free. The new port office was opened in 2016. This contains beautiful toilet and shower facility for visitors to the Hanzehaven. The harbor is just outside the old fortress of Elburg. The former Hanseatic city of Elburg has managed to keep many of its characteristic elements. It is therefore known as a city with the most monuments on the smallest area in our country. The old city wall, the canals with city walls, the fish auction, the medieval Angietsklooster, everything exudes the atmosphere of yesteryear. In the pleasant center, which is located directly on the Hanzehaven, you can enjoy a spacious range of shops and many catering establishments with sunny terraces.
