Leave in the largest city harbor in Brabant. See how the bridge keeper manually runs the historic bridge once every hour. Be surprised by everything that Tilburg has to offer. The Piushaven is an excellent base: within walking distance of the center and yet in the middle of the green. In the meantime there is also a wide selection of catering on the Piushaven. Nice restaurants and cozy cafés with terraces on the water contribute to a pleasant harbor experience. Moreover, Tilburg is a real event city. From the Piushaven these can often even be reached on foot. For more information about the Tilburg events: http://tilburg.com/pleinen/evenementen-tilburg/ The Turn Bridge "Prinsenhoeven" is operated daily:-Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the entire hours; - Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the entire hours; - Sundays and public holidays at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm. On Sundays and public holidays (during the season), the bridge is served exclusively after you have requested it by telephone from the bridge keeper/host (013- 542 94 40). The connecting bridge "Den Affective" is operated depending on the demand/supply: for outgoing traffic (demand): 5 to 10 minutes before the swing bridge; For incoming traffic (offer): 5 to 10 minutes after the swing bridge. After the closure in September, it will only be served on request for winterers, regular beams and events.
