Aarøsund Lystbådehavn is a cozy marina located in the middle of the Lillebælt, near Hadersleben. The marina offers berths for members and rental possibilities. Winter storage is available, where boats can overwinter on land or in the water. A local shipyard offers expertise in preparing boats for both summer and winter seasons. The harbor has waste containers for various types of waste and has two AEDs (automated external defibrillators). Aarøsund itself is a small town with limited sights, but offers a kiosk, fish shop and a restaurant overlooking the water. A ferry to the picturesque island of Årø departs near the harbor.
